The Murder of Elaine ‘Beverley’ King
Detectives believe that in July 1974, Beverley King was strangled to death by a client at the Burlington Hotel in Sydney’s CBD. According to Detective Inspector John Lehmann from the NSW Unsolved Homicide Team, Beverley was a known prostitute in the area and was often seen at various hotels there.
The murder of Beverley King has remained unsolved for 43 years.
